The IEEE IES Tunisia Section Chapter Challenge successfully brought together IES members, student members, researchers, academics, scientists, and professionals from Tunisia to present and discuss their innovative projects and ideas in key areas such as Renewable Energy, Distributed Generation and Smart Grids, Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage Systems, and Digital Transformation for Green Energy and Embedded Systems.

Held on October 12th, 2024, at the Golden Tulip Taj Sultan in Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia, the event showcased a variety of groundbreaking concepts. We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s challenge:

1st Place: Agrivolt from IEEE ESSTHS Student Branch for integrating AI with sustainable farming practices.

2nd Place: The Innovators from IEEE ISIMA Student Branch for developing 3D-printed solar energy trees.

3rd Place: AcceleraTech Solutions from IEEE HS Sciences & Technologies Student Branch for advancing digital twin technology for power systems.
